Invermere’s Copper Point Resort Brings Home Two Customer Service Gold Tommie Awards

Invermere, BC, February 1, 2012 – Copper Point Resort is celebrating after an award winning Saturday night in Kelowna this past weekend. The Invermere condo resort received its first Customer Service recognition from the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Central Okanagan which recognizes the industries best in residential home building. At the annual Tommie Awards, Copper Point Resort won for Excellence in Customer Service – Builder and Excellence in Sales Team in New Home Construction for their hard work over the past year with its proud condo owners.

“This is a humbling recognition for our team and I want to thank everyone for their efforts,” said Rohit Gupta, CFO of the resort’s parent company Rohit Group of Companies, “Customer Service is a top priority for our organization and we will work towards maintaining that superior level of service in all facets of our company.”

This is the second year in a row for the luxury condominium vacation resort to be recognized by the CHBA-CO as it received nine silver nominations last year for its marketing campaign. The prominent builder took home three golden statues for best logo, individual ad and advertising campaign.

The condo resort has been opened to the public since May 2011 but the sales team has been diligently working on condominium sales for the resort since May 2010. The team looks forward to adding new home owners this coming year.

Compiling micro/macro-economic market information on new homes, resales, and competitor’s sales activity, to include developing and maintaining competition surveys for all active neighborhoods.
Monitors the progress of sales and absorption of products within the region.
Perform monthly product tours and audits.
Make pricing and product recommendations to Project Manager.
Address escalated customer concerns.
Monitoring revenues from deposits and closings.

Day to day interaction with Sales Associates.

The finalists were revealed at the annual Tommie Event held earlier this week when the luxury condominium resort in Invermere, BC picked up two nominations for the second year in a row. Invermere, BC, November 18, 2011 – Last weekend local residents and visitors to Copper Point Resort were pleasantly surprised to finally see who the mystery special guest was for Elements Grill’s Hospitality Night. Throughout the evening special guests MERGE put on the perfect acoustic show while everyone enjoyed their meals and conversations. The Vancouver based band are touring through Western Canada and stopped by the resort this past weekend after hearing about it through friends. The evening was dedicated to showcasing the creations of Elements Grill’s own Chef Shane Bauer and his culinary team for an atmosphere complemented by music from the band.

Habitat for Humanity and Rohit Communities Give Family the Keys to a New Home

Leduc, AB, September 14, 2011 – A Leduc family has been welcomed home. The excited Habitat partner family received keys to their new affordable condo home in front of proud staff from Rohit Communities, an Edmonton Home Builder, and Habitat for Humanity Edmonton. The new home was made possible by Rohit Communities as part of their pledge during Habitat Day in the Capital Region this past April.

“On behalf of the City of Leduc, we’re thrilled that a local family received assistance from Habitat for

Humanity to ensure they could continue to live in the community of their choice,” said Alderman Dana Smith, City of Leduc.

Habitat families purchase their new homes at market value from Habitat for Humanity, but pay an interest-free mortgage that is amortized to 25 percent of their income. The interest-free mortgage is what makes the new homes affordable. The families’ mortgage payments are then reinvested into building more Habitat homes; making Habitat’s program sustainable.

Rohit Communities demonstrates their leadership value by “raising the bar on achievement, inspiring others, and being a role model for others.” This value was on display during Habitat Day in the Capital Region, when the Edmonton Home Builder confirmed their commitment to provide a house to Habitat for Humanity for the second consecutive year.

Copper Point Resort Congratulates The Sheepdogs on Rolling Stone Magazine Cover

Invermere, British Columbia, August 11, 2011 – The millions of votes have been tallied for the Rolling Stone magazine cover contest and the winner is the proudly Canadian band The Sheepdogs, the first unsigned band to ever don the cover. Copper Point Resort, Invermere’s luxury condominium resort, was proud to have this talented band perform at its big grand opening June 28, 2011 where more than five hundred people came out to celebrate the special occasion with an outdoor concert. The Saskatoon based quartet beat out 15 other musical acts, all of whom were American, in the magazine’s “Do you want to be a rock and roll star?” contest.

In addition to the front page cover prize, the band signed a deal with Atlantic record label and gave a performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. “Rooted in the timeless blues and rock-and-roll tradition, The Sheepdogs play organic, unadulterated music marked by inspired musicianship, vocal harmonies and songwriting,” said Craig Kallman, chairman and CEO of Atlantic Records. “For these guys to have crossed every hurdle and emerge victorious is a real testament to the enduring power of honest, heartfelt music to touch a deep nerve in music fans.”

The Sheepdogs formed in 2006 and have a 1970’s retro appeal sound that reaches out to both younger and older generations. Last week they released a digital EP titled Five Easy Pieces.
