With a clearly defined and somewhat shallow swimming area, this is a great place for families with younger children. There is something for everyone at this beach including a small playground, floating dock with slide, Pynelogs cafe, volleyball sand court and boat launch.
Windermere Beach is just a leisurely walk from the Town Centre of Windermere offering a lot of family fun. There is a playground for the children, open grass spaces for throwing the frisbee and picnic tables.
There are also several public boat launches and storage facilities throughout the Invermere and Windermere areas.
